Welsh Arm Chair

$500.00

It has been a joy to work on this chair. It is built in the Welsh Stick Chair tradition and is heavily inspired by the work of Dawson Moore. All of the parts, 22 in total were collected from a field by hand. The seat slab was milled from a cottonwood tree felled during Hurricane Laura and the other components are 1/4 split and shaped by hand in my shop. This is a very slow process, 100 hours went into this chair all told. It is finished using pure Tung Oil, completely organic and family safe.

Dimensions:

Internal Width (space between arms) 21in,

footprint W 24in X 21in,

height 34 3/4in,

seat height 17 1/4in
